Business Analyst – Media & Entertainment

As a Business Analyst at FinconsUS, you’ll play a key role in supporting IT initiatives for major media and entertainment clients. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications, collaborating with development teams to ensure solutions meet both technical needs and business goals. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bridging the gap between business and technology, with a strong understanding of how digital tools and workflows support content creation, management, and distribution in today’s media environment.
Responsibilities:
Gather and document business and technical requirements for IT systems and applications
Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories
Work closely with development, QA, and project management teams throughout the project lifecycle
Assist with user acceptance testing, training, and solution rollout
Ensure systems and solutions align with business goals and user needs
Participate in stakeholder meetings, workshops, and documentation reviews
Qualifications:
3–5 years of experience as a business analyst
Experience working in the media, entertainment, broadcast, or streaming industry
Strong understanding of IT systems, software development, and digital workflows
Excellent communication, analytical, and documentation skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
Must be based in or near Los Angeles, CA, and open to a hybrid work schedule
