We are seeking a Product Manager – Content Accounting, Title, Rights & Royalties to lead and optimize systems for content rights, royalties, and financial operations. This role will play a critical part in enhancing workflows, managing system integrations, and ensuring compliance with financial and contractual obligations.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the strategic roadmap for content accounting, title, rights, and royalties (TRR) solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain efficient workflows for content financials, improving automation and integration with existing financial systems.
- Support the integration and optimization of vendor systems such as Rightsline and Alliant, ensuring seamless financial and rights management operations.
- Collaborate with finance, accounting, legal, business affairs, and operations teams to enhance reporting accuracy and contractual compliance.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure system reliability, data accuracy, and optimal performance.
- Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements from finance, content accounting, and rights management teams.
- Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements, ensuring smooth implementation of new features.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement continuous improvements.
- Lead training and change management initiatives, ensuring stakeholders understand key system functionalities and updates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, information systems, or a related field.
- Experience in media and entertainment, with a focus on content accounting, rights management, or royalty workflows.
- Strong knowledge of contract terms related to content licensing, royalty payments, and financial compliance.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise rights management and accounting systems such as Rightsline and Alliant.
- Proficiency in system workflow analysis and process optimization.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical approach to troubleshooting financial system issues.
- Experience engaging with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, accounting, and technology.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize and manage system enhancements, balancing business needs and technical feasibility.
